本會為非營利組織(NPO)設立於2012年，主要由曾參與國際醫療服務的各醫療相關專業人士所組成，除了專案的經理(Project Manager)外，95%參與計畫人員皆為志願工作者。
組織的核心價值，在永續性(sustainability)為考量的基礎下，以專職的專案經理規畫評估計畫，用專業的方式培力(Capacity Building)服務社群為目標 ，透過整合各式資源(Resource Integrating) ，共同合作參與(co-operating)的方式，期以達到有效益(effectiveness and efficiency)的提升或改善，服務社群的健康照護品質之目的。

About us
Health Co-op Organization (HCO-OP) is a private non-for-profit organization composed of members from various health related professions devoted to international health projects. HCO-OP officially registered in September of 2012 in Taiwan. 95% of project participants are volunteers. Our core values are as follows: To share our experiences and work together with our partners to pursue a better livelihood. By integrating all of the resources at hand and co-operating with our partners, we have succeeded in securing full-time project managers who work to assure the sustainable impacts of this project to provide professionals and develop a capacity to serve communities so that we can achieve the mission of Health CO-OP, “the call for wellness.”
The health issues we are addressing include oral healthcare, community first aid promotion, malnutrition of children, and teaching youth valuable life skills. The places we are working with are Cambodia, Mongol, Nepal and Tibetan Communities in India.
We believe ”Everyone has the responsibility to shape the future humanity.” Our missions reflects the core values of HCO-OP based on sustainability concerns.
